Dates and times of the Heritage Days Festival main event:

  • Saturday May 17th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
    • Some vendors may stay open late due to the movie being shown at dusk (see below)
  • Sunday May 18th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Parade:

  • Parade on Saturday May 17th at 10:00 am.
  • The 2008 Grand Marshall will be Monika Kelly Andrew, a Ball Ground resident and daughter of World Famous circus clown, Emmett Kelly, Sr.
  • Spectators can watch the parade from downtown Ball Ground on Ball Ground Rd / Gilmer Ferry Rd / Hwy 372

The "Greatest Show on Earth" Movie:

  • Free viewing of the award winning 1952 film "The Greatest Show on Earth" with Charlton Heston, Betty Hutton, Cornel Wilde, Jimmy Stewart and Emmett Kelly Sr.
  • Your host will be Monika Kelly, daughter of Emmett Kelly Sr.
  • The movie will begin Saturday May 17th, at dusk (approx 8 pm) at Calvin Farmer Park.
